Dining at Boscawen Inn
Maritime Flavours and Comfort Food
Our Chefs, Madonna Boland and Mary Ann Feeney, are Nova Scotian natives and, as such, are masters of maritime fare and comfort foods.
Breakfast at Boscawen is something to look forward to: begin your day with morning coffee & tea service and decadent pastries served in the parlours or out on the deck. By 8:00am, delicious breakfast items will appear on the buffet for you to enjoy in the dining room or out on the deck. And when you’re ready, a daily hot entrée will be on offer to complete this hearty start to your day’s explorations.
Special Dinners may be arranged for groups of 12 or more and may include our famous Lobster Dinner or other Nova Scotia specialities. (We require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice to consult with Mary Ann and Madonna, our Sweet and Saucey Chefs.)
We highly recommend an outing to Blue Rocks, The Ovens or one of the beautiful beaches nearby and gourmet picnic baskets can be ordered the night before to take on your day of travels.
And unlike many B&B’s and smaller Inns, Boscawen Inn is fully licensed, so you can enjoy a local Ironworks Distillery vodka martini on the deck or a Nova Scotia wine or beer. So be sure to make it back to the Inn in the Drawing Room and on the Admiral’s Deck.
